CYVIZ BRINGS VISUALIZATION TO LIFE

Norwegian technology firm Cyviz AS, a manufacturer of high end visualization systems, has opened a world class visualization center just outside Stavanger, Norway, fulfilling a dream for CEO and co-founder of Cyviz, Joar Vaage.

‘The Cyviz Technology Center (CTC) really brings visualization to life. I have been dreaming of building a center like this ever since I co-started Cyviz back in 1998’, Mr. Vaage said.

‘The center is a perfect example of what collaborative work can do. We have worked with world class partners to create a unique concept,’ he explained.

The center is probably the most advanced visualization center in Europe. It is described as a perfect venue for clients and partners with a need for high end collaborative work facilities. It houses 4 different multifunctional visualization rooms, and Cyviz has worked with key technological partners Hewlett Packard, TANDBERG, NVIDIA, ProjectionDesign and Crestron to equip the center with the latest technology, from workstations and graphic boards to teleconferencing and user interfaces. The reception hall is designed to accommodate large audiences for various professional purposes. In addition, there are 2 regular meeting rooms.

The CTC in Norway is the first center in a business strategy to build impressive facilities to show Cyviz technology to customers all around the world. Cyviz plan to open an identical center in Houston in Q1 of 2008 and another one in Dubai in Q2 of 2008.

‘This is just the beginning of a strategic plan to cement Cyviz’ position as a market leader within high end visualization,’ Commercial Director Glen J. Lambersøy said.

‘If the centers prove successful, we intend to build a CTC in selected major cities all around the world, thereby giving us a presence in every region and a place to introduce companies to our world of visualization,’ he said.

The opening of the center was celebrated on October 2nd with 70 representatives of different companies from all over the world.
