Driving Proactive Fleet Monitoring Through a Big Data Integrated Command Center.
MFTBC, part of the Daimler Truck AG group, operates a fleet of over 600,000 vehicles across Asia and sought to harness big data to improve fleet performance, reduce downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction. To support this goal, the company envisioned a centralized command center where engineers, analysts, and managers could work cross-functionally using real-time predictive analytics. The new environment would need to unify siloed data streams and enable fast, informed decision-making to ensure vehicle reliability and product quality across a global operation.
To achieve this vision, MFTBC partnered with Cyviz to deliver the ICCON room—an Integrated Command and Control space equipped with the Cyviz Easy Software Management Platform, video processing tools, and a real-time visualization wall. The solution consolidated sensor and telematics data from across the fleet and made it accessible in a single collaborative space. By enabling predictive diagnostics and centralized monitoring, the ICCON room helped MFTBC reduce diagnostic times, improve safety, and enhance operational transparency across its vehicle operations.
MFTBC needed a way to reduce vehicle downtime and identify breakdown root causes more quickly, while improving collaboration across functional teams to raise product quality and reduce warranty losses.
Cyviz implemented a Big Data Integrated Command and Control (ICCON) room, consolidating IoT and sensor data into a shared visual space to enable faster decision-making and predictive maintenance.
The implementation of the ICCON room led to a measurable reduction in fleet downtime, faster root cause identification, and improved collaboration between MFTBC’s functional teams. Quality alerts that previously took days or weeks to identify are now flagged within hours, supporting faster interventions and lowering warranty-related costs. The ICCON platform is expected to deliver increasing returns as fleet activity scales post-pandemic, and will support MFTBC’s expansion into global markets with its new electric truck lineup. The Cyviz-powered space now stands as a core asset in MFTBC’s strategy for operational excellence and global growth.
With our high-end visualization and unified communication systems, Cyviz control rooms can be used for national intelligence, space programs and other special operations.
